The HeLAC Board is composed entirely of Hertie School students from different master’s programs, including Public Policy, International Affairs, and Data Science. We come from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and countries across Latin America and beyond.
Our work is fully voluntary. Board members dedicate their time and energy alongside their studies to organize activities, foster community, and represent Latin American perspectives within the Hertie School.
We collaborate throughout the year to:
- Host academic and policy discussions
- Organize cultural and social events
- Strengthen ties with embassies, institutions, and experts
- Support Latin American students and allies within the Hertie community
- Promote regional visibility and engagement on campus
HeLAC is driven by teamwork, identity, and a shared commitment to public service. The board reflects the values of collaboration, diversity, and leadership that define the Hertie School community.
